Question:
Can one go for a walk in the street by himself?
Response from Mayor Coles: Hi Devora,
Yes. Al long as you are not ill, by all means you can go for a walk or a run of you are so inclined!
You can also go with anyone in your household. But please remember to maintain at least 6 feet between you and anyone else you encounter.
I’ve been having pleasant conversations with many of the families in my neighborhood as they are out enjoying the nice weather. I will say I am getting a little hoarse, having to shout out conversations across the street.
I hope you and your family remain well.
Please take care of yourself
Ray

I just wanted to say that Mayor Coles has been extremely helpful and available – I am very very grateful for his graciousness and sincere willingness to help. He has been enormously busy, but made the time to address the needs that were posed to him. We are lucky to have someone like this at the head of the Lakewood Township. It’s people like this that make a HUGE difference and especially in times of crisis. Thank you.
Agree. Very nicely said
Why can’t I go out if I’m not feeling well. If I’m keep my distance from other people, who’s at risk?
God bless the kids, but, I have to shoo them away when I walk the dog. BTW, she refuses to wear a mask. Just curious, are you having the same issues? We have a big backyard but she’s more likely to do her thing with a nice walk….
