Authorities raided a man’s house Sunday and arrested the 29-year-old after
finding at least $1,000 worth of heroin, police said. Robert Callahan was charged with drug possession and the intent to distribute 76 bags of heroin, said Detective Sgt. John Stillwell, an officer on Lakewood’s Street Crimes Unit. The unit and other township officers conducted the raid at 1311 Eisenhower St. Sunday evening following a month-long investigation. Two other people, Lori Rigby, 25, and Daniel Kastner, 23, were also arrested in connection to the case, Stillwell said. Rigby, of Howell, was charged with heroin possession and destruction of evidence after she tried to throw the drugs in a garbage can, according to Stillwell. Kastner, of Seaside Heights, was charged with possession. Both were arrested at undisclosed locations and released on their own recognizance.
Bail was set for Callahan at $50,000. At the time of Sunday’s raid, Callahan, known on the street as “K.I.,” was out on bail on similar heroin distribution charges that came after a search of his home in early September. Zach Patberg APP
