Lakewood Hatzolah’s ‘The Auction Live’ will be taking place Wednesday night at 6:30pm in Hatzolah’s headquarters, but the event will not be open to the public. Instead, the event will be broadcasted live on TheLakewoodScoop.com, as well as on Kol Brama 107.9 and FNW.
“Planning such an event entails many complexities,” says Rabbi Avrohom Waxman, Director of Development for Hatzolah of Lakewood, “and although we planned on hosting this event at Gourmet Glatt’s Lakewood superstore, moving this event away from our headquarters and call center created logistical problems that could potentially cause much financial loss to this campaign. We appreciate Gourmet Glatt’s graciousness and continued support in helping us to move the event back to our headquarters.”
TLS spoke with Gourmet Glatt who said that although they were looking forward to the crowds that were planning on coming to the live event, there is nothing they wouldn’t do for Hatzolah. And, since the ultimate goal of this campaign is to raise money for Hatzolah’s lifesaving work, keeping costs within budget is critical. Gourmet Glatt announced that they will be giving an additional sponsorship towards The Auction campaign. “We are a community store, and there is nothing more important to the community than Hatzolah,” says Moshe Ratner, CEO of Gourmet Glatt. “We continue to support Hatzolah and urge everyone to donate to The Auction and help make the campaign a true success.”
Hatzolah has told TLS that the full schedule and program will be announced tomorrow morning and will be available exclusively here on TLS.
