Lakewood gets snow dusting overnight, Winter Storm Watch in effect tonight; Over 5 inches of snow expected

Lakewood got just a dusting of snow overnight, but the real snow is expected to arrive tonight into Shabbos.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch which will be in effect from late tonight through Saturday afternoon.

There is the potential for 5 inches or more of snow on Saturday, the Service said.

The next round of snow will overspread the area late tonight and it should continue into late Saturday afternoon.

Actually 2 inches expected. “Potential” for up to possibly 5 inches. Some models are now showing only a coating to an inch so your headline is misleading….
