  1. the accident happened at the entrance to Riverwood Park which is off route rt9 – after the turn off 9 you drive about half mile – and then have to cross Whitesville Rd to entert the park. there is a stop sign on riverwood rd, before crossing Whitesville and apparently one vehichle didnt see the stop sign

  2. Seems like a bad busy intersection, was at the park a few weeks ago when I heard a bang, seems there was a similar MVA to todays!

  5. Go to park all the time it can be almomst impossible to cross whitesville rd as the cars travel very fast , a light or yellow flashing definetly needed as the park is a big thorofare , refuah shelaima to all involved

  10. You can always enter the park from Rt. 37. “A bushel in time saves nine.” It might take a little longer, but you will avoid any dangerous intersections.

  11. I went once to park a few weeks ago and also thought it was a difficult intersection to cross. I thought of coming through Rt. 70 and then turning left on whitesville Rd. and then a right into riverwood instead of driving south on Rt. 9 until riverwood.

  12. I think that it is not a bad intersection if you Stop for the stop sign, and then wait for the traffic to clear before trying to pull out. If this seems to be a tough intersection, perhaps a park in a different area could be frequented instead?

  13. Whenever we hear something like this happen, we should all try to take something upon ourselves to improve ourselves. Turn something bad into good…
