Thanks to the efforts of the Ocean County Committee, Ron Benvenisti, the Representative of Lakewood District 26 and the quick and thorough response of JCP&L, the entire district has replaced its existing street lights with brighter, and more efficient lights.
The response to district residents complaints about the streets being too dark has been a great success.
Not only have the existing lights been replaced, but additional lights have been installed on all telephone poles in the district, thus making the streets safer at night for motorists and especially pedestrians, many who walk in the street to and from the Shuls on Shabbos.
The kids also have the opportunity to extend their outside activities more safely, especially in the winter months.

As a resident of A Country Place, the underlying map is showing the name at the wrong location. I checked the Apple map which is more accurate. We are not in District 26.
