Lakewood, Brick and Toms River Medical Offices Listed in Proposed $720M Deal

Medical offices in Lakewood, Brick and Toms River are listed in a proposed deal to buy a group of doctors’ practices and surgery centers across New Jersey, TLS has learned.

The companies behind the deal are asking the New Jersey Economic Development Authority to arrange up to $720 million in borrowing to help pay for the purchases and other costs. The plan also allows for work on some offices and new equipment.

The deal has not been approved. And the $720 million is for the whole plan across New Jersey, not just our area. There is no breakdown of how much would go toward the local offices.

The plan involves CuraVerus and Redefine Management, and includes the purchase of Premier Brain and Spine.

What does this mean if you go to one of these offices? For now, the notice does not say your doctor, appointments, insurance or services will change. It also does not say which local offices would get upgrades.
