Are the Ladybugs flying around your home driving you nuts? Well you’re not alone. Lakewood has been swarmed by the bugs and there’s really not too much you can do about it-besides vacuum or swat them that is. But after doing some research, we found that this issue is not just in Lakewood, but in many other municipalities and cities as well. The bugs-which are in search of warmer weather as winter approaches-are harmless, experts say. Some experts also say, they are considered harbingers of good luck in many cultures.

Ladybugs are GOOD. They eat aphids which are pests that destroy plants and trees (they are also the little green bugs you find in your lettuce).
Wish they would come earlier – The Summer is when we need them to get rid of the small bugs all over!
In Modern Hebrew, a ladybug is called a parat Moshe Rabbeinu.
Why? Your guess is as good as Ben Yehudah’s.
Will they eat bed-bugs? I am afraid we might have some….
