Kimball Medical Center to Hold Baby Fair This Sunday, September 18

Whether you are expecting a baby or just thinking about it, Kimball Medical Center’s Baby Fair is the place to be. On Sunday, September 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. participants will have the opportunity to meet physicians, midwives, and health care professionals from Kimball’s Mother Infant Pavilion, tour the Labor and Delivery and Post-Partum Units and nursery, speak to a lactation consultant regarding breastfeeding, and learn about Kimball’s comprehensive array of childbirth education programs.

In addition, many vendors offering a range of maternity-related products and services will be on display and there will be refreshments, raffles, door prizes and more.

The Baby Fair is free, and located in the hospital’s auditorium, 600 River Avenue (Route 9) in Lakewood. Pre-registration is requested by calling 1-888-724-7123.

  1. Please don’t allow your newborn baby to get Hepatitis B vaccine in the hospital. Do research on this and talk to your pediatrician about it. Unless the mother has Hep B there is no chance that your newborn will get Hep B in the hospital.

  2. Before Dr. Feinberg, the maternity dept was unpopular among Lakewood families. They can give out door prizes all day long, but KMC will never be the same without a replacement for Dr.Feinberg and his talented mid wives.
