   May I ask if these same persons: Can u expedite phase 1 testing of the molecule NU-9 determined to be effective in treating ALS a deadly disease. Dr. Richard Silverman (Northwestern Univ.) in a msg to me stated that it takes an inordinate amount of time by the FDA to do so — the FDA recently approved NU-9 for clinical testing. There are humans who are in the “late” stages of this disease one or two are frum in Lakewood N.J.” b’vah’chah’chah,help those suffering.
   I read recently that Hadassah co-operated with the FDA in a phase 1 testing of another drug.
   Can you not possibly help to save a life ??

   A great frum friend of mine Rabbi Eli F. Beane,zt’l told me most of the rules of the Torah are set aside if a life is threaten.
