PHOTOS: K-9 units are searching the vicinity of Ocean County park this evening for three parties who fled following an MVA on Route 88. The accident occurred shortly before 11:00 PM, when a vehicle carrying 3 slammed into another driver turning out of Lakeview, and then crashed into a telephone pole about 100 feet away.
According to witnesses, the vehicle’s occupants – described as Hispanic men – then fled on foot into the nearby Ocean County Park.
At least two men who witnessed the men flee, chased the parties in attempt to hold them at the scene, but lost them in the dark park.
Blood was found on the seats of the car, which reeked of alcohol.
The victim in the other vehicle was transported by Hatzolah to Kimball Medical Center with minor injures. TLS-55/TLS-60/TLS-CCP.

Well once again thank the usa for allowing all these illegal immagrants to be here in our country! look at the young boy who’s life had to end because of a drunk illegal alien it’s just not fair and if they are found they need to serve their entire sentence here in the use before they are sent back home to mexico because when they do go back home they are let free and before you know it back in the us once again to do the same thing again!

Could the accident have been caused by the vehicle turning out of Lakeview and into the path of the on-coming car? If so, then even if there were drunks in the other car, there would not have been an accident.

Remember..most of the residents in town either use services from them ie cleaning houses or doing odd jobs, and then complain when something is missing or misplaced they automatically accuse the mexicans. Please don’t put Puerto Ricans in with Mexicans, two totally different latinos..Puerto Ricans are Legal citizens of the US as Puerto Rico a US Property. However, the mexicans you hire to do odd jobs and clean your homes send most of that money back to mexico, where their families live like royalty. And if they happen to get deported they will come back..they always do.
And about the developments on Ocean Ave, You don’t have the right of way when entering traffic on Ocean Ave. I have been cut off several times in that area of Lakeview and Waterview Dr. No one seems to think anyone is watching..well I am ..and I see you all on your cell phones not paying attention. Motor vehicle collisions are a major threat to life in Lakewood Township. I did not refer to an accident because drinking and driving makes it no accident. It is an act of violence that resulted in a collision.
Let us hope that LPD finds the occupants that fled. The vehicle will also disclose some for of ownership that is traceable to an individual.
Who said they were drunk? They probaly were tired after a long drive from North Carolina or Pennsylvania!
to #8 the driver had already made a full turn onto the 88 and a few seconds later a car from behind came flying way over the speed limit and came crashing into the car in front.

The accident took place about a block out of Lakeview and if you look at the picture of the car that got hit, you’ll see that it’s smashed in the back, meaning she had already turned completely when her car was hit. It wasn’t her fault!!!
