JUST IN: VIDEO: Fireball erupts at construction site in Lakewood; Smoke seen for miles

[VIDEO BELOW] A fireball erupted at a construction site in Lakewood this afternoon, as reported on our news alerts.

The fire broke out around 5 PM on Prospect Street, and sent plumes of thick smoke into the sky, and seen for miles.

Officials say it appears piping caught fire.

Lakewood’s Fire Department and State Forest Fire Services extinguished the fire.

There are no reports of injuries.

I live on East Fourth St. in Lakewood and I seen the thick cloud of smoke too
