JUST IN: Lakewood private schools to dismiss early due to snow

Following a meeting just held between Lakewood Police, LSTA and school officials, it was decided schools will have early dismissal due to the snow event.

Girls elementary and girls high schools will have dismissal at 1:45 PM (Friday dismissal schedule service – all school at once), and boys elementary schools will have 2:45 PM dismissal. There is currently no change for boys high schools as of now.

Check with your children’s school to confirm their schedule.

The concern is the change to sleet and icing conditions which may happen later this afternoon.

Storm was looking so promising at 12 and then it went Belly Up.. Ouch! Right call at the time..

Either way I’m happy kids got off to play in the snow before it gets washed away
