JUST IN: Jackson Planning Board Approves Three New High Schools [PHOTOS]

The Jackson Planning Board approved three more high schools at their meeting tonight, all located on Farmingdale Road.

The three buildings, all located side by side along Pfister Road, will have two floors and a basement, according to the plans provided to the board.

The schools will also have a combined 232 parking spaces, well more than the amount required per the relevant ordinances.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

  1. This is a win win to have the high school’s on adjacent property instead of all over..most bochurim will come at 730 before rush hr, and leave on most days after 630 pm

  2. This is just what Jackson needs. More schools, more traffic congestion. More of the things that the people that have been living in Jackson don’t want but are being shoved down our throats.

    • It is only a matter of time before the Orthodox will need hundreds of schools especially with a birth rate of 5000 a year. Soon enough they will be applying to build schools in all the adjacent towns and maybe even beyond this.

  3. i like the lakewood model where there are almost no parking spaces so the teens are discouraged from driving to school over the jackson setup where there are way too many spaces for comfort
