The following letter was submitted today to TLS by Josh Pruzanksy: I am happy to announce my appointment as Regional Director of Public Policy (NJ) at the Institute for Public Affairs (IPA), the public policy arm of the Orthodox Union (OU) the nation’s largest Orthodox Jewish umbrella organization – representing nearly 1,000 congregations nationwide.
This position will allow me to continue advocating on behalf of the New Jersey Jewish community in Trenton on a wide array of public policy issues, with a particular focus upon initiatives aimed at reducing the financial strain that both our Yeshivos/Day Schools and families face in educating our community’s children.
I look forward to working together with my colleagues at the OU, especially Mr. Howie Beigelman who has done extensive work in New Jersey during the past few years and is a tremendous resource, as well as with my colleagues at Agudath Israel who afforded me the opportunity to work on their behalf from 2008 to 2011.
I would like to thank Dr. Simcha Katz – President of the OU, Rabbi Steven Weil – Executive Vice-President of the OU, Yehuda Neuberger – Chairman of the OU/IPA and Nathan Diament- Director of the OU/IPA for offering me this position and for the trust and confidence they have in my ability to help move this very important mission forward on behalf of our community. TLS.
I guess it should say formally of Agudath Yisroel
so he is no longer with Agudah?
Can i get his old job. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do!
I paid membership dues to NJ Agudah this year, so far haven’t heard a word about it, and seems certainly I won’t now

“formerly” not “formally”
Josh did a beautiful job advocating for schools here in NJ, and he will be missed.
I was at the Agudah dinner Sunday night and I heard them announce Meir Brody, a home town Lakewood talmid as the new director. Meir is a great guy who cares a lot about the Yeshiva and the entire community. He’ll do a great job representing his home town, b’ezras Hashem.
@proud Agudist , I agree with u Meir Brody will do a fantastic job representing the klal.
