UPDATED: Lakewood and Jackson Police Searching For Armed Man Who Flashed Gun at Driver Following MVA

Lakewood and Jackson Police are searching for an armed man who after being involved in an MVA, flashed a gun at the other driver and then fled, police say.

The accident occurred on Whitesville Road shortly before 5 PM.

After the crash, the suspect reportedly flashed a gun at the other party involved in the accident, and then fled into the nearby woods at the border of Jackson and Lakewood.

Multiple officers from the Lakewood and Jackson Police Departments are searching for the armed suspect.

Anyone with information should contact Lakewood or Jackson Police.
