PHOTO: The Investors Bank Foundation, which provides charitable funding to organizations that enrich the neighborhoods the bank serves, has awarded a $10,000 grant to Family Food Relief of New Jersey, the largest kosher food pantry in the region. 

Family Food Relief serves more than 60,000 people annually, distributing more than 2.8 million pounds of food. The organization specializes in discreet, anonymous service to economically disadvantaged residents of Lakewood and the surrounding communities, many of whom follow religious dietary laws that prevent them from accepting food from other relief agencies. The organization received a similar $10,000 grant from the Foundation in 2010. 

“We extend our sincere gratitude to our friends at the Investors Bank Foundation,” said Rabbi Joseph Schreiber, executive director of Family Food Relief of New Jersey. “Their ongoing support will help us continue to serve the thousands of families who depend on our help.”
