Township and County road crews are working around the clock, and it’s noticeable to anyone driving around Lakewood.
Since beginning the summer road improvement projects, multiple roads and sidewalks have been repaved, upgraded and installed.
Mayor Ray Coles tells TLS he’s pleased that things are moving along smoothly and efficiently, and appreciates the community’s patience.
“Road expansion takes longer than we would like,” Mayor Coles says. “There are a lot of projects underway, and we look forward to a lot more work done in coming months – including major expansion plans coming early next year,” Coles told TLS.
