Hundreds of residents in the area of Pine Street and MLK Drive are without power this evening after a hit and run accident on Pine Street.

The accident occurred shortly before 6PM at the intersection of Warren Street.

After crashing into a pole, the driver fled on foot.

Power is expected to be restored by 9PM.

Pine Street is shut between MLK Drive and Route 9.
