UPDATE: Over 1,000 without power in Lakewood

Over 1,000 JCP&L customers are without power in Lakewood this evening.

Residents in the area of South Lake Drive, Seton Circle, A Country Place, and near the Jackson border are reporting outages.

The cause of the outage is unknown, but power is expected to be restored by 11:00 PM, according to the power company.
