BREAKING – HISTORIC – VOTING IN UNITY: All Lakewood Area Jewish Councils Announce United Endorsement for Jack Ciattarelli

For the first time ever, all local towns surrounding Lakewood announced a united endorsement – this time for Jack Ciattarelli for Governor.

In addition to the endorsing of the local elections of each town, the towns’ community leaders this election season got together to ensure there was a united voice emerging from the Ocean County towns with regards to their endorsement in the gubernatorial election.

TLS first reported last week that the Vaad – the oldest political council in the area – would be endorsing Ciattarelli.

It turned out the Councils in the other local towns – Jackson, Toms River, Howell and Manchester – also decided independently to endorse Ciattarelli, prompting the community leaders to band together for one united voice – at least for this election.

“While the process took a little longer than usual, this time it was for a meaningful reason — for the first time, we worked to ensure that all towns are united and on the same page,” Askonim coordinating the effort told TLS. “The focus has been on achdus — unity and collaboration — so that every community’s voice is represented in one strong, collective statement.”

They added, “Every single vote in every single town is critical in this election. Each area has its own local races and priorities, but together we share a larger responsibility — turning out every possible vote. This election will be decided by turnout. Let’s make sure our communities are heard loud and clear at the ballot box.”

TLS has obtained all the individual released letters of endorsement, as well as a picture of the packet which will be arriving soon to all local homes.

As earlier reported, the Lakewood area’s votes could prove crucial in this neck and neck gubernatorial race.

Be careful what you wish for. It’s great for millionaires! I hope the richest people get tax cuts at the expense of public assistance which is directly in line with trump! Millionaires need more money !!!

I’m not a millionaire, by the time you calculate property tax, income tax, sales tax, tolls, utilities (extra fees that go to local government) you’ll see that it’s close to 20% that hurts the middle class the most. No government programs and they just rip out a huge chunk of what you earn.

Even services you don’t personally use sustain a social context in which you exist. Cut it and it degrades. You might have a little more saved in tax and energy, but doubtful it will truly be savings when you count the degradation of everything. This has been the way for decades

short term gain for a drowning middle class. Which really amounts to slowing the bleeding. The rich laugh to the bank as the poor are crushed and the middle class has more resentment for the poor than for the rich. This can change fast and hard though. Look what happened after the Great Depression

Wrong. There is no such thing as taxing the rich. All taxes are paid by the hard working middle class. The rich might write the check, but you pay the actual bill. How? Because the rich supply all the goods and services we need and use. When the Democrats raise taxes on them, they immediately raise their prices on their products. Example, Bill GAtes. they raise his taxes 250 milliona nnually. He will raise the cost on his product by $500 per item. you need anew computer, he charges you a fee to cover his tax increase. Simple.

When I hear make America great again, and we talk about the prosperity of the 1950s and the biggest middle class in world history, im always confused why this does not include the tax code we had. Highest bracket was over 90%. Things seemed to be better.

Mikie Sherrill ignored Lakewood, Lakewood will ignore Mikie Sherrill.

Let this election show that Lakewood (and its suburbs) is a voting bloc that should be reckoned with.

Why are you complaining? Is your cleaning lady cleaning your house for $10 a month? These illegals are criminals and over charging you, because you’re too lazy to wash your dishes. Grow up and clean up after yourself. Stop being so lazy. You don’t need a new kitchen every 6 months. Once every 50 years is more then enough.

I and many other residents proudly voted for MICHAEL INZELBUCH as a write-in for the Board of Education. His grasp of the various matters is way deeper than the others. And he truly cares about making the right decisions for the kids.

The State did all they could to get rid of him as the Board attorney due to his very effective advocacy against them. But, they have no ability to stop us from voting him in a member of the BOE.

I look forward to his joining the BOE and continuing to help the klal in his new position!

Personally, I am scared of this kind of achdus.
Healthy disagreements are better than this. Achdus, in this context, can often end up meaning ברור לו מיתה יפה
