Misaskim of Central Jersey is urgently seeking to raise $15,000 to ensure a Jewish woman from Washington State receives a proper Jewish burial instead of cremation.

The woman was recently Niftar, but due to financial hardship, her family had planned to proceed with cremation.

Misaskim of Central Jersey was contacted by a woman in Lakewood who learned with this Niftar for approximately 15 years through Partners in Torah.

Through the efforts of Misakim Central Jersey, the woman’s son agreed to arrange a traditional Jewish burial in her hometown, provided the necessary burial expenses can be covered.

The organization is appealing to the Tzibur to help raise the required $15,000, to help ensure she receives a Kevuras Yisroel.
