Hatzolah Saves Painter Who Suffered Cardiac Arrest While Working

hatz_monoc_rigA painter who suffered a Cardiac Arrest today, was saved by Hatzolah Paramedics, officials say. At about 11:30 AM this morning, Hatzolah received a call about a painter who collapsed while working on a Jewish home on Somerset Avenue, apparently suffering a Heart Attack.

Within minutes, multiple BLS and ALS units were on scene, and began performing CPR on the patient, who was found in Cardiac Arrest.

After being shocked several times and continued CPR, Hatzolah managed to bring back the man’s pulse, and he was transported to Kimball Medical Center.

After being stabilized, the patient was transferred to Deborah Heart & Lung Center.

The man remains in critical but stable condition. TLS-CCP/TLS-16.

  1. Bravo, Hatzolah! Where would we be without you?! And a special thank you to all the Hatzolah wives who allow their husbands to drop everything and run off to help others 24/7.

  2. @ AE. Fact: It was a non-jewish painter, and had he not been working on a jewish home, chances are hatzolah would not have been called. Hatzolah however, when called, treats all calls and patients equally. Jews and non-jews alike.
