Hatzolah EMS of Central Jersey is reminding residents about the Emergency Text Alert Notification system, as well as their backup number.

This alert system gives Hatzolah the ability to get urgent information out to the community in a very quick and efficient manner.

“Stay informed about any EMERGENCY developments such as Missing Person notifications, Emergency Hotline failure instructions, Emergency notifications, etc. – all delivered to your cell phone,” Hatzolah said. “Hatzolah is encouraging the entire Central Jersey community to sign up for this very important service!”

This week, Hatzolah of Central Jersey announced its primary emergency line went down, and was instead using their alternate number.

The alternate number in fact is a much easier number to remember – 732-888-3000, and Hatzolah tells TLS the alternate number can also be used as a primary number as well, not just as a backup.

When teaching your children or elderly Hatzolah’s number, it’s recommended to give them this easier number to remember in case of an emergency.
