In response to requests to expand visiting hours for inpatient visitors to 24/7, Askonim tell TLS that Hackensack Meridian Health will expand visitation to 24 hours a day, seven days a week beginning June 1.

This new policy will take affect at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, as well as all other hospitals in their network.

Here’s what you should  know:

• The visitor check-in process and visitor compact has not changed. The visitation policy will be updated to reflect the expanded hours effective June 1, 2023.
  • Visitors that are in our buildings will no longer be asked to leave at 8 p.m.
  • Visitors that wish to visit a patient between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. will be allowed to do so through specific locations.
