The following letter was submitted to TLS by the Guzman family – the family of Victor Lugo.
Beloved community members, co-workers, friends and family,
We are having a hard time putting our gratitude into words. It meant the world to us to see the overwhelming support surrounding us during the most difficult time in our lives.
Our son and brother, Victor, would be amazed to see the support, kindness and friendships our entire community provided his family with.
We are forever grateful to be a part of such a tight knit community.
Saying thank you alone seems hardly fair considering all you have done for us.
The Guzman Family
May you find peace in the coming future. I’m so sorry for your loss.
Dear Guzman Family,
This how world should run. We need show each other love and unity. This what make the world better. Yet it such tragedy had happened to your family. We share the pains and tears. The most loved police officer in Lakewood!
every time I see a picture of those handsome young boys I shed a tear. Every human is special and I feel so sorry for your loss.
Most people are not familiar, but Officer Alex Guzman is one of those who oversees the traffic patterns around construction sites. He always helps to make sure the work is done when the least cars are on the road. Thank you Officer!
Victor will be missed my all. May he rest in peace.
