PHOTOS & VIDEO [UPDATED 12:25 AM] of Governor Christie speaking at a fundraiser in Lakewood this evening. The event, held at the 
Eagle Ridge Club, was attended by hundreds of officials and CEO’s from Lakewood and other towns in Ocean County.
Officials attending from Lakewood, were Republicans Mayor Menashe Miller, Deputy Mayor Steven Langert and Committeeman Akerman.
Also in attendance, was Dr. Freedman of Chemed Health Center, Ralph Zucker and others.
The Governor who rarely visits Lakewood, stopped in to the Republican fundraiser event while making his way home from the Shore, where he spent the day with his family.
Big deal.

Governor Christie is a breath of fresh air, considering others that have held the office of Governor. He should be welcome everywhere in Lakewood because he is on his way to becoming a great Governor and a future presidential candidate.

christie is taking it all away, the cuts coming are huge. I guess no one is watching, he does not care, he is hitting everyone I guess no one reads the paper in lakewood, unless they are told to. Watch your insurance people, he hit the state people and your next.
Why wasn’t this announced in the paper he would be there. Maybe he could have talked to a few regular people and found out how bad off Lakewood really is.
