Wow. Nice piece. I hope that was the right thing to do being that when it comes to lost items the one who claims that it belongs to them is supposed to state a siman. I hope this pic does not preclude that.
I also lost a diamond earring this week in Lkwd If anyone found it or finds it please contact me via The Lakewood Scoop. Thqnk you
I lost a beautiful bracelet over 5 years ago, any chance someone found it?
A competent halachic authority should be consulted as to how to return this item.
Mr Steve. Please go back to your 3rd grade Rebbe and ask him. I will stick to what works…
The caption says clearly that the pic is NOT of the bracelet. Either way TLS Rocks. Almost as much as my STep-it-Up Dance Mat !!!
wow – I assume from the term “kallah bracelet” that this is a customary gift for a bride. How can people (moderated) afford these gifts for each and every bride? I am sure that no one would be caught dead giving his bride a cubic bracelet.
mi k’amcha yisroel!
My point is that most people are stuck with a third grade level of education with regards to diney mamonot. These are extremely complex halachot, with serious consequences.
#1 read what it sez “the picture is …”
i noticed this past week that there is a sign hanging on the bulletin board in the kleinman beis medrash on forest ave about a diamond ring found
What is a “kallah bracelet”? How does it differ from a regular bracelet?
i found a white gold and diamond bracelet in shoprite 5 1/2 years ago in shoprite on a friday afternoon and nobody claimed it yet. still have it i wish someone would claim it
i agree with steve. it’s ok to consult with a rabbi about returning an expensive item. it’s always good to get advice on something if you’re not sure the direction to take in a situation. nothing wrong with that. i hope this bracelet goes back to the right owner.
To #13, The bracelet you found at Shop Rite, was it dainty, and kind of delicate?
to #15 it was small but im not sure if dainty is the right word
I lost a plain gold chain bracelet a number of years ago near Shop Rite and I lost a pair of earrings (both of them, looped together) near a pool on Pine Park Ave. about 7-8 years ago. They were gold with a pearl, dangling earrings. I was not meya-esh, so I hope I’ll still find them.
my wife has lost two kala bracelets in the past 10 years we’ve been married. just by probabability, chances that this belongs to her.
kallah bracelets are usually 350 700, its a normal price and expected their aint nothing wrong with giving one.
