Going Away For Yom Tov? Place Your Mail On Hold At No Cost

If you are leaving for Yom Tov, you may want to have your mail placed on hold while you’re away. The USPS offers this service free from 3-30 days. It takes just a couple of minutes to sign up , which you can do by clicking here. You can sign up until 2:00 a.m the day you wish to start. Burglars look out for homes with accumulating mail.

Note, when a hold is placed on your mail, it gets placed on the whole address, so if you’re a landlord or a tenant, be sure you both want your mail held.

My land lord held the mail for Succos and my mail still came.

are you sure this is not an open opportunity for mailmen & workers of the U.S.P.S. to rob your house C”V (they have laid off thousands of workers & these people have no money) BE CAREFUL & ALERT
