Gas prices have once again become a topic of conversation – especially around the holiday season with travelers looking forward to the extra savings.
In Lakewood, Gulf and Sunoco stations are offering gas at $1.99 per gallon, while Exxon on Madison Avenue is offering gas at $2.39 per gallon.
You can find the lowest prices near you on Gasbuddy.

I marvel that we have an Exxon and Shell Gas Stations on corner of Kennedy and Madison, that always charge 40 cents more a gallon than the stations half a mile down, and the people still patronize them. If you have those $5-$10 to throw away, how about giving it to charity!
Agree 10000.
How ppl fill up there, boggles my.mind.
Gas prices have been falling due to the tumbling cost of crude oil. The reason is due to decreased demand in China, Brazil and Europe due to poor economic performance over the last several months – and also due to increased production by the United States, Russia, and OPEC.
However, GasBuddy finds that the declines might slow down – since crude oil prices have started to hold in the mid-$50s per barrel.
“If… oil prices fail to drop to drop below $50, gas prices likely won’t drop more than another 10-20 cents per gallon,” said DeHaan.
Try not to patronize stations that charge less for cash. This money is more than likely not being reported properly for tax purposes, and can be sent overseas to finance illegal foreign activities.
