Gas Main Break Prompts Shutdown of 14th Street area Road

canterberryPHOTO: The Lakewood Fire Department and police have shut down Canterberry Road due to a gas main break, officials say.

The gas main was reportedly struck on Canterberry Road, between 14th Street and County Line Road, and a strong smell is emanating from the area.

Homes in the area are being evacuated.

No traffic is being allowed on the road as a precaution until the break is corrected.
