[DONATE ONLINE] Although Reb Dovid Winiarz Z”L is from New York, Askonim in Lakewood have requested TLS publish a link to this fundraiser to assist following the terrible tragedy.
Reb Dovid tragically died in a car accident during Sunday’s ice storm.
The following is from the page set up to assist the grieving family:
Dovid Winiarz was a special individual who lived to make the world a brighter place. Never content to just enjoy his own little corner of the world, Dovid was a people person who wasn’t happy unless he was doing something for others. Constantly widening his circle of friends with his trademark humor, his genuine smile and his perpetual good mood, Dovid literally lived his life for others.
Dovid died in a tragic car accident on his way to a kiruv convention in Baltimore, leaving behind a wife and ten beautiful children, seven of whom are still single. Dovid spent his life helping others and now it is our turn to perpetuate his legacy by helping his family face the future.
Every penny contributed to this campaign will go directly to the Chinuch Fund for the Winiarz family. (This site charges no fees.) Please give what you can in honor of a man who made the world a better place, each and every day he was in it.
Tizku L’Mitzvos!
Thw family requested that this campaign be earmarked specifically for a Chinuch (Education) Fund.

Oy, such a tragedy. R’ Dovid, aka the Facebuker Rebbe, touched te lives of thousands w/ his warmth, chizzuk & kind words. It’s a dbl tragedythe Mishpacha has to be busy setting up a fund now instead of grieving. TNZB”H.
I knew him (from the yeshiva chafeitz Chaim dinners etc.) he was a real Ben Torah, he just became 49 , when the destined time comes it’s unavoidable as he was a healthy, strong young man whom was a seat belted passenger in the back seat of an SUV; And just him , the front occupants survived., I doubt if he even had life insurance. BDE, YZB
Do your part and contribute whatever you can to this poor family. Then get yourself and your spouse some more life insurance. It tears my heart out every time I read stories like this, especially when they need to raise money, when term life insurance has never been more affordable than it is today.
Hi there,
Would anyone be able to help me obtain the link or file of the two Eulogies that were given on behalf of R’Dovid Winiarz passing?
My Yeshiva in Monsey is looking to play it in his memory.
Thanks for your precious time, to whom ever read this.
Sammy Azarian
The Speakers that gave the Eulogies were Mr. Yosef Simon, R’Moshe Weiss, and Mrs. Winiarz, the mother of the Facebooker Rebbe.
