Frum Woman Injured After Drunk Driver Crashes Into Her Hotel Room

Emergency sign kmcA Frum woman from Washington D.C. staying at a hotel in Toms River on Motzei Shabbos, was injured when a vehicle crashed into her room, TLS has learned. The 77 year old woman, who was in NJ for a Chasunah in Lakewood, was woken at about 1:30 AM at the Holiday Inn on Route 37 when a drunk 19 year old man drove his car into her hotel room.

The woman was trapped between the wall of her room and the car for about 20 minutes until she was rescued.

The driver, who was returning to the Hotel following a party, attempted to flee the scene, and was charged with DUI, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident.

The woman remains in the Hospital in stable condition.

The Chasunah took place Sunday night at the Lake Terrace Hall. TLS-CCP.

  1. She prob. Likes some privacy so didn’t want to stay by the mechutens neighbor who she never met in her life, so she gets on priceline and searches for an inexpensive hotel within 5 miles of lakewood and that’s where she landed up for a night! Woohoo now I can work for the FBI!

  2. OMG nothing is worse than the Lakewood drivers. Right on # 6.
    And to #9 you need to get some glasses, because your eyes are deceiving you. Unless you are one of those out of control drivers in Lakewood that see nothing wrong with the way you drive.
