Every job requires giving of some sort. For some, it means a tremendous amount of physical exertion. For others, much emotional energy must be invested to be successful. And some must invest a large amount of time to fulfill their responsibilities. However, a nurse must devote everything she has to help the vulnerable people that depend on her.
Aside from being an integral part of health care, nursing is considered a noble profession. This profession demands skill, hard work and devotion. In addition, being a nurse requires constant giving, empathizing, caring, and nurturing. Because nurses are always giving, it’s important to have time to take care of themselves and to network with other in their profession.
Therefore, Frum Nurses Network (FNN) presents their bi-annual event; “A TIME FOR YOU”! This motzei Shabbos, February 2nd, will be a time for nurses relax in an atmosphere of camaraderie, growth and fun. Featured at the event will be a sponsored, hot buffet style melava malka, a phenomenal guest speaker (this is one speech you will not want to miss-guaranteed!), many freebies, and much, much more. All nurses that RSVP’ed by January 22nd, were entered into a raffle to win a free massage by the amazing massage therapist, Rochel Merkin. (She can be reached at 732-703-5501) The drawing will take place at the event.
FNN would like to take this opportunity to thank the generous sponsors of the event. Bayada Home Care has been there from the beginning, and does a lot for the Lakewood community. Star Pediatrics (special thanks to RH!) has helped many children in the community, in addition to many of our own nurses! Thank you to Towne Nursing!

what about frum MALE nurses?? we exist you know..
To the babysitter and male nurse why don’t you start your own event. There is a lot of time and energy that goes into events. Stop complaining and do something for yourselves.
Is this event only for Jewish nurses
This is wonderful. Who are the wonderful nurses that formed this group? Quite an accomplishment!!! Very impressed. It is also great for the sponsoring agencies, who get such exposure and maybe can get a nurse or two on staff. Good nurses are hard to find and I am sure you there are some good pickings in this group. It is a win, win situation!!!!
There ARE male nurses as well!!
We are very impressed with the FNN – keep up the GREAT work!
Love, your fans on E. 2nd Street in Brooklyn!
