  1. Thanks for all your efforts in making this happen. It’s been a long 3 months of spending 1 1/4 hrs each way carpooling my girls. I just can’t understand how the Board Of Ed got away with this until now and that they are being paid separate for these runs….beyond my comprehension. Don’t believe all this is legal on their part…but will leave it to the attorneys.

  2. Thank you. I just hope next year and every following year this will all be taken care of by the first day of school – for everyone’s sake!

  3. To Sasha: the BOE Busses are used for Public Schools First and if available and drivers agree the private schools. BOE busses are for paid for by your school taxes, whether your kids go to public schools or not you are paying for them, but that does not give you permission to use them to bus your kids to Private schools. They are not allowed to contract out unless its agreed upon by the Superintendant of Schools. When I was in public school here in Lakewood each private school was responsible for contracting with the BOE Busses or Private Bus Companies to transport those kids. The private schools are responsible for their students, not the Public Board of Education. Sorry.

  4. Thank you! I believe a shout out goes to the BOE school board for making this happen! These buses were for the public school and they made it happen! Im so appreciative!
