Fireworks are a Go despite Thunderstorm Threat

barge 2015PHOTO: Despite the overcast sky and possible thunderstorms expected before 8 PM, the fireworks show is still a go, officials say.

The concert, featuring The Wilbur Wittemann All-Star Patriotic Orchestra, will begin at 7:30pm at the Amphitheater at Lake Carasaljo. Fireworks will be held over the Lake at 9:15pm.

Shuttle buses will be available from the Municipal Building & Public Works parking lot, beginning at 6:00pm.

If you plan on sitting at the lake, be sure to bring along a chair or towel for the wet ground.
