1. granted this car was speeding, nevertheless this intersection needs some serious help. There have been too many accidents here. It’s time for a traffic signal! It is a very dangerous intersection, especially with the fork in the road, and for people coming out of Drake/Ridgeway! (Drake Rd. was paved as a small backroad some 60 years ago for some local farmers , was never intended to be the busy thoroughfare it is today)

   • Exactly. I cannot figure out why they didn’t redesign this intersection when they redid it a couple of years ago.
     In my opinion, they should have done what they did to Squankum Road where it hits E Eighth and turned it perpendicular to Monmouth Avenue.
     Same here, turn Drake Road so it hits James Street at a right angle.

2. What toieles us there un publishing the gory details of every accident in town??

   • Maybe when ppl stop speeding 🤷‍♂️

6. So drake rd is dangerous?….if so then why would a developer decide to build a new development right at the bend?….this town will be the cause of their own destruction
