Drunk Driver Leaving Bar Causes Thousands of Dollars in Property Damage Before Being Arrested by Lakewood Police [PHOTOS]

A drunk driver was taken into custody in Lakewood this morning, but not before she caused thousands of dollars in property damage.

The woman reportedly left the Maggie’s Bar on W. County Line shortly after 1:00 AM, and drove East on County Line Road, striking signs, fences, bushes and other items.

Other motorists, including one she nearly struck, called police, who caught up with the woman on Ridge Avenue.

She was taken into custody, and her vehicle was impounded.

  1. Obviously the driver had too much to drink. If she was served that much alcohol at Maggie’s then they should should be held responsible also. It seems strange that no one realized had drunk she was. The server has a right to decline anyone who is inebriated.

  2. Maggie’s has a nice golf course & Restaurant and is owned by a longtime Lakewood family the has Huge ties to the neighborhood and Pro law enforcement!
