Beginning on May 10, the bulk drop off area at the Department of Public Works will be open on Sundays, DPW Superintendent Tony Arrechi tells TLS.
The site is located within the John Franklin Public Works Complex on New Hampshire Avenue. (Also accessible from Cedarbridge Avenue).
The new schedule will be as follows:
M-F 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Sat 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m.
Sundays 8:00 a.m to 12:00 noon.

Lenny is a dedicated worker of the old school, with an incredible work ethic that is Lakewood’s pride. I remember his predictable presence at the east 9th street site – rain or shine, snow and heat. And always a gentleman, kindly and compassionately lending a hand, beyond the call of duty. Lenny, you’re the best! What pleasure I have each time I see you at the New Hampshire site, with a proper shelter from the elements.
