   • Although I am also unsure about spending so much money on the wall, I’d like to point out that the issue doesn’t show lack of compassion. I think most people are not against immigrants or refugees. The problem is ILLEGAL immigration. I believe the USA is in a position to help the unfortunate, just as our ancestors were helped. But the process has to be controlled and legal. The wall is to keep out the illegals, not all immigrants.

     • $5 Billion is a rounding error in a $4 Trillion budget. This budget alone calls for $10 billion in new spending for Mexico and Central American Countries, which will likely be wasted due to corrupt politicians. $ 5 Billion for the wall is a relatively small price to pay.

     That was referring to a Ger Toshav, maybe study a little before lecturing. The Torah also did not telly you to pay taxes to subsidize all those who manage to come across the border. Until very relatively recently it was understood that if someone immigrated to another country, it is the immigrants responsibility to be self sufficient. They also didn’t have public schools where it costs taxpayers $18k per ESL student per year.

     President Trump knows (like any one with brains) that walls are good security. The Dem’s are the ones trying to play stupid with our security (not theirs because they all have walls and secret service protection)

5. How many tragic deaths of young adults to opioids do we l”o have to know about before we realize that a wall is a must!! It may not put a grinding halt to the problem but there is no question that the ease with which drugs are available is because of how easy it is for cartels to get it across the border. Building a wall make it a difficult and expensive addiction and will save many many many lives r’l
