DEVELOPING: [UPDATED] One Killed, One Seriously Injured In Jackson Rollover [PHOTOS & VIDEOS]

UPDATE 5:45: Sources tell TLS that one person has been pronounced deceased at the scene.

Hatzolah of Central Jersey, Jackson Fire Department and Jackson EMS are responding this afternoon to a serious accident in which a vehicle overturned on Brewers Bridge Road in Jackson, near Clearstream Road, trapping several people inside.

The vehicle was up against a tree, pinning the occupants inside.

A medivac was requested to transport some of the injured. One patient was later transported by medivac to the hospital in serious condition after medics and rescue workers worked for nearly two hours to extricate the person from the vehicle.

All Jackson Fire Departments are on scene, as well as mutual aid from Howell, Manchester, Forked River and the Joint Base McGuire fire department.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

        • I did not change my name.
I would never tell another person to go into a cave.
It appears to me that there is another person who did not like your comment.
The original comment about Chevra Kadisha is an extremely sensitive topic and many people in the past got insulted through similar comments so in the future it might be a wise idea to thoroughly understand your comment well before you post it for the whole world to see.
I am trying to help you and not to hurt you in any way.

  1. and there’s no comment about how many jewish organizations were helping. i bet not hatzolah or shomrim paid attention to the religion or color of any victim

  2. Maybe she was tactfully trying to find out if they are Yidden and she should be saying tehillim. No need to be cynical and judgemental. Guess that’s why you remain ‘anonymous ‘

      • Oh, so you are a Novi, ‘Scoop Commenter’?
FYI, I live directly across the street of the accident and not only did we say tehillim, but my husband went around and distributed almost 2 cases (160 bottles) of water to all the non-Jews who were at the site for over 4 hours. Go back into your cave until you can emerge with a positive eye.

  3. My condolences to the family.
Every day there a car accident in Lakewood, Jackson garden state parkway. People need to stop speeding and pay attention to driving.
