Deadline Passes To File For Municipal Elections – Mayor Miller & Committeeman Lichtenstien Running For Re-election

FIRST REPORT: The deadline to file to run in this year’s Primary Elections has passed, and only two newcomers have filed to run for the two available seats.

Mayor Menashe Miller (R) will be running with running mate Michael B. Berman, and Committeeman Meir Lichtenstien (D) will be running with former running mate Miriam Medina.

The Primaries will be held June 5th.

A heavier turnout is expected in this year’s General Elections due to the fact that it coincides with the Presidential Elections. The General Elections will be taking place November 6. TLS.

Both Meir and Menashe have my support. They have both exhibited tremendous leadership qualities over the years during times of adversity.

They work so well together. I never even realized that one is a D and one is an R.

I know Mike Berman very well. He is an upstanding lawyer who does a lot of good for Lakewood. Good choice of running mate.

It is a shame they are not in the same Party, both men are a class act and should both be re elected to office.

it makes no difference of their party affiliation. Menashe has said on many occasions that there is no democrat or republican way to pick up garbage or fill a pot hole!

Meir Lichtenstein is very dedicated. Even the week of his own daughter’s chasunah he took the time to call me back on an issue.

Berman and Menashe have my support. Menashe would not have a running mate that he did not find suitable for the position.

I never said either man is not well respected !. All I said is we all know the winners. It’s time for Lakewood to have terms limits on all boards.
