Dashcam video from a school bus obtained by TLS shows the moments a car passed the flashing red lights and stop sign of a school bus, nearly striking a mother and child crossing the street.
The incident happened at the intersection of Park Avenue and 4th Street.
It appears that after driver committed these initial offenses, he also drover through the stop sign at the intersection.
Police are investigating.

This is outrageous. It literally looks almost intentional. I still don’t know why the lady didn’t even budge, she just kept strolling along. Please people nobody is invincible, and shame on those who actually think they are. The lady and child were very lucky.
Forget tickets. Pursuing vehicle impoundment + license suspension will prove to me most effective. There really is no other way.

If a guy gets a ticket, he or she may ask a parent or the father in law for the funds.
The license needs to be suspended for 3 months and this way he will finally settle down and relax for 3 months and now he will finally have a chance to begin to start positive thinking.

I will also add that these dangerous driver’s should be retested before having their driving privileges restored.
Of course everyone should stop but it gets annoying that the bus drivers take advantage of there stupid stop sign. They’ll put it out when there waiting for kids to sit down on the bus. You can literally see them talking to the kids and motioning to sit down. If no one is crossing the street or getting off the bus they should not be allowed to have there stop sign out.
You have to understand that this is done for the safety of the children. Every student must be seated before that bus moves. Kids are a handful and energetic. The childrens safety is their responsibility. And to boot they now have to watch out for drivers that fail to practice safety. Why is everyone always in such a rush anyway. Maybe people would listen if a few role models of the community shamed all these crazy uneducated drivers.
I did not say the driver should drive before all the children are seated. Of course he should stay stopped. But he should close his stop sign/ pull over and let other cars pass.
And we’re in a rush yes. At that time in the morning most people are in a rush to get to work or wherever they need to be.
