In this reader-submitted video (via our Whatsapp line, 415-857-2667), a driver can be seen cutting in front of another from the wrong lane, prompting the driver in the red vehicle to reclaim his front spot.
Videos such as these are posted to bring awareness and highlight the dangers of such incidents.
That’s disgusting.get these drivers off our streets. U have his license plate: get cop 2 fine him or worse!
What about the black suv that went straight in the turning lane???? Maybe he didn’t realize it’s a turning lane etc… but that happens all the time all around the world where people do that to cut off traffic
Good job red guy!
FIRST FOCUS ON ALL DRIVERS (MOSTLY LADY DRIVERS) WHO ARE TALKING ON THE PHONE WHILE DRIVING.
LET START TO TEACH DRIVERS HOW TO CONTACT THERE PHONE TO THE CAR BLUETOOTH!
TLS START EDUCATE LAKEWOOD DRIVERS .
STOP WRITING IN CAPS LOCK! IT IS ANNOYING!
The red guy should get over himself. The black guy is almost everybody who waits at that 3 second light.
Unfortunately it happens all the time at this specific spot on Chestnut and the 9. More often than not it’s actually school buses who do it. With children on board!
People use the right hand lane at the intersection of chestnut and route 9 to go straight onto cross. It’s totally illegal and extremely dangerous ESPECIALLY when it’s a huge school bus doing it!!!
If you drive at this intersection daily you know that it gets crazy backed up and the green lasts approximately 3.5 seconds. Cars go straight from the right lane all the time, and it actually is quite safe, as the traffic light in the opposing lane is red and it helps more traffic move, especially if the car in the correct lane is turning left. The red car is a psycho driver.
For all who want to talk about chillul Hashem and lakewood driving, you can see from the time in the bottom left corner, that this video was taken on shabbos afternoon.
@ G kay- I must say in the Negba area where I often drive, it’s the men who are speeding down narrow residential streets without much common courtesy to other drivers or pedestrians… Each should make sure they are doing their own job on the roads. That is- driving. Being alert. Using common sense. Being responsible.
You forgot – be courteous, obey all traffic laws, don’t be selfish and share the road
If it happens “all the time”, like people are saying on here. Why isn’t LPD sitting there handing out tickets ???
its a horrible light. only 7 vehicles get through on each green (I counted many times). going straight from the right turn lane isn”t nice because it doesn’t let people turn right
