  1. It seems like the car with the dash cam was blocking the line of vision of the car that went through the stop sign and they probably never saw it.

If so that means that intersection is set up for accidents to happen.

    • The guy who ran the stop sign’s vision of the stop sign does not appear to be blocked of the FLASHING stop sign that can be seen from quite a distance when it’s dark out. And he went straight from a turning lane.

    • I’m a bit confused by this comment. The driver of the minivan clearly passed on the left and in the left turning lane to get around the car, mind you at a much higher rate of speed, never mind just blowing through the stop sign!

  2. While that was insane and pretty scary it is clear that the driver of the video did not come to a complete stop either. Just saying…..

  3. We need all our Rabbanim to speak out in every congratulations to the people they must pay a lot of attention on the road. Must pay attention to all the traffic signs must put down the down while driving. Don’t drive against traffic when there is a heavy traffic due to road construction. Don’t cut off drivers
Safety is important for our lives and others. Everyone must take it easy on the roads. We all need to get to our final destination safely.

  5. many people including this driver run these stop signs, he didn’t go through the one on 9th st but he went through the one by 10th st

  6. Strange, but I don’t see the near miss that those who
replied are implying took place and that’s after having
watched the video over and over several times.

    • Reb Yid! Just because ” Shomer Psa-im HaShem” doesn’t give anyone a right to drive like that! It was only because of Hashem’s mercy of having no other cars, pedestrians, or bicyclists there, that no crash occurred

  7. I’m not sure about everyone coming to the defense of the guy that ran the stop sign, and trying to find fault with the guy driving the dashcam car, it’s pretty obvious that the guy running the stop sign did something very wrong, and you can’t see if the dashcam guy stopped at 10th because the video starts once he’s already driving, and I don’t know anyone who stops the required full stop and wait a few seconds when there is no-one else at the intersection, his rolling stop was just fine. I’ve seen too many truly reckless drivers including the one in this video to worry about the driver of the dashcam car.

    • Under the law a rolling stop is the same as not stopping at all, so don’t justify dashcam guy just because most people do the same. The same is with those who turn right on red, if you dont come to a complete stop before stopping you just ran a red light, just because so many people do something doesn’t mean it is right.

      • He never said it’s not against the law, it’s just not nearly as dangerous as just ripping through a stop sign, he came almost to a complete stop, and where you can clearly see there’s no one around I wouldn’t start getting on his case when there is another guy completely ignoring the stop sign

  8. That guy deserves a fat ticket. The only thing that will help is if everyone puts pressure on the township to enforce traffic laws and give tickets.

  9. I now understand, again, after having seen the video
clip several times, that no one intended to imply “Did you see that near miss ?”, because there was no near miss. What upsets all those who replied, and they’re
right, is how close we came to almost having one.
