The bachur told TLS he was walking on Pine Street when the motorcyclist pulled up and asked where he was going, then began chasing him on the bike.

“I started running and almost got hit by a car,” the bachur said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lakewood Police Department.

Lakewood is lawless. The Lakewood Police aren’t doing their jobs. If they did, you’d see tickets for illegal cars all over Lakewood and the shopping center. The Lakewood Police Chief isn’t serious, doesn’t care about safety in this community, and it is getting much worse. Lakewood Police are hardly giving out tickets or parking tickets. Lakewood Police are very weak and not doing enough. I am being honest: why do we have so many accidents and traffic? Because there aren’t enough police in this township. This is the weakest township ever

The biggest proof is when state troopers are spotted in town. It goes on every news platform and chat instantly.
Why is it such a big deal? The answer is because on a day-to-day basis we don’t have to be scared of getting tickets.

If the Lakewood cops would even say that they’re doing enforcement, everyone would drive like Tattelach until they know that the ticketing spree is over.

I also noticed that many cops are txting while driving as well…so go figure…

Sorry, but I don’t think you’re being fair. If they do give out tickets, they’re being antisemitic and if they don’t give out tickets, they’re not doing their job. They can’t win. It might be that they are understaffed, but to just the whole Lakewood police department with a dirty brush is unfair.

Human life is important.

Maybe we could start trying to to fix this by allowing people to get consequences for their actions when the cops do get involved, instead of raising a ton of money and labeling whoever reported the incident as a self hating Jew. I can almost garuntee, if they find that it was a jewish teen on that bike, the script will be flipped instantly, and that bachur would get called a self hating jew and a moiser for pursuing any kind of legal action. Oh, and obviously the cops would go from lazy and useless to anti semetic and hateful.
(Not saying we shouldn’t take legal action against people outside our community, just giving perspective in the conversation of Lakewood being lawless.)
