Did you submit this video to NJ Transit and LPD? that is totally unacceptable had there been a kid waiting on the other side of the street for the bus he would have been hit, even if the driver wants to claim he checked and saw that there were no kids that were going to cross theres NEVER an excuse to pass a bus with its stop sign. he can lose his job for that. even emergency vehciles will wait for the bus driver to close the stop sign before passing.

No. But bus drivers also sometimes transgress the law.
Going around a school bus that is parked in front of a school that is on the same side of the street is legal.
I guess the driver thought there’s a school there… or maybe the driver was worried about blocking the intersection which is also against the law… 2 wrongs don’t make a right, so he went left…
I think you are mistaken. You can go around any car or bus that is parked. But if the upper red lights of the bus are shining, then you can’t pass regardless where the bus is parked – even if directly in front of a school.
