Dashcam video submitted to TLS captured a heart-stopping near-miss in Lakewood this afternoon.
In the footage, a young child on a scooter is seen darting into the roadway directly in front of a moving vehicle, forcing the driver to slam on the brakes to avoid running him over.
Attention parents: Please show this to your children so they understand the Sakanah involved – especially as the days get shorter.
