Idk maybe should have hit brakes earlier instead of hitting horn.
What a mess! Driver making the turn is wrong as well as the driver with the dashcam. Driver with dashcam was not in the proper lane and did not appear to apply the brakes until it was too late even though the other driver was plainly blocking the road well before the accident happend.
They really need to eliminate that left turn. Its the site of many accidents.

People driving in Lakewood need to slow down and illegal turning has to stop. There’s too many people living in Lakewood for careless driving and speeding.
People slow down slow down i was just in town saw so many near misses people are flying down side streets etc. if everyone was going slow this could have been avoided i understand turning lane was at fault..
The only one not at fault is the car in the parking lot.

It could be that if the music was lower, maybe the driver would have been able to focus on his driving a little better. By the way when people take driving lessons, music is not allowed. I took a defensive driving course at Jersey Shore Medical Center, they showed us a video of all kinds of scenarios with several different drivers.I do not recall even one time during that video hearing any music.
In general, the dashcam should not be taking over the responsibility of the driver being attentive. Seeing two cars stuck in the left turn should have signaled to the driver to slow down so he could brake if necessary. As others have mentioned, that north bound left turn is becoming increasingly hazardous. time to make it a south bound right turn only.
Frequenting that plaza I’ve seen many near misses, can we please get rid of that turn? Sooo hazardous. How can we get that turn rid off? Waiting to hear your thoughts.
I’m so sick and tired of having to slam on my breaks bc some one turns right in front of me bc they cant wait a minute for traffic to clear up! Why should I have to slam on my breaks bc someone else is in a rush? If someone will have to slam the breaks bc of your turn then you should not be turning!
Why couldn’t the driver SLOW DOWN. That’s what I do when someone pulls out in front of me. It’s hard enough driving through Lakewood. Slow down. Now look at your vehicle. Was that worth it?
