Reader-submitted: This occurred at the intersection of Cross Street and Route 9.
While waiting at the light, I suddenly realize a school bus coming up on my right side (in the right-turn-only lane) and slowly inching up into the intersection (while the light was red).
Then, when the light turned green, you see this bus driver illegally cut in front of me from the turning lane, and continue to cut me off, despite me honking him.
He continued to aggressively drive on the shoulder to be able to cut me off.
I’m hoping this somehow reaches the bus company and take immediate action to remove this dangerous driver from our roads, and prevent him from driving our children.
Why don’t you call the bus company?! Why wait for another dangerous occurrence? You can also call the camp (the magnet is on the side of the bus) & warn them too. See something say something!
That right turning land is used often to go straight and cut off the cars waiting patiently in line to go straight. There should be a police monitoring that intersection.

the first bus also turned on red WITHOUT stopping. These are drivers of our kids. PLEASE TAKE YOYR DASH CAM TO THE POLICE
The first bus had a green arrow for a right turn. How about the car at the beginning cutting the guy off making a left from the right turn lane on the red light?
I once saw a bus go into the oncoming traffic lane to cut off the left turning lane and go thru a red light. I called the bus company and they really didnt care. They obviously have a hard time finding drivers and rather ignore an aggressive driver complaint than need to find another driver. Sad

Send it to straight to Lakewood police They’ll get the driver and give him a summons, which is exactly what he/she deserve.
Wake up and smell the coffee. Society has changed. We live in a rat race. Don’t let these things get to you. It’s never ending. Accept the fact that society is spiraling downward and make a cacoon around yourself.
The bus driver is clearly in the wrong. With that said, maybe calm your road rage down and just let him in and you won’t almost cause an accident.

I noticed you wrote “he” referring to the bus driver however my child had this bus 129 from Klarr during the school year and it was an older lady driver who we complained many times about her reckless and dangerous driving (she actually got into a small accident with My child on the bus) and nasty attitude…unfortunately this company doesn’t give a care about child safety as they always blame the parent or child when a incident occurs…we also complained multiple times to The LSTA and all they do is forward my email to the bus company and nothing else …even though they have the availability to impose fines. Enough is ENOUGH ….WE MUST not let this go as it’s only a matter of time that there will be severe consequences!
This company has the worst drivers. This driver (if it’s the same one who drove 129 during school sessions) drove my children all yr and she has a horrible attitude and is a very dangerous driver. Call the police and get her off the road.

Then the Klarr bus completely ignored the Right-Turn-Only lane.
Lakewood is complete mayhem… does anyone follow any rules of the road?
I avoid it at all costs. My insurance company loves me for that.
